Hi, I’m Sophia.
I built what didn’t exist.
GlowDecoded unofficially started the same way many skin journeys do: staring in the mirror and feeling frustrated that my skin didn’t look or feel the way I hoped it would.
In my 20s and 30s, I was navigating a mix of skin concerns and sensitivities while trying to make sense of endless products, protocols, and opinions. I tried expensive skincare, popular supplements, and expert recommendations. Some things helped for a while; many didn’t. The trial and error added up — financially and emotionally.
What bothered me most wasn’t just the lack of progress. It was realizing how much of the beauty and supplement industry runs on confusion: vague claims, unclear formulations, and products that look impressive but aren’t built with a clear biological rationale.
Two years of research.

In 2024, after yet another round of appointments and recommendations that didn’t address my skin from a systems perspective, I started researching for myself. With a background in healthcare, I approached skin the same way I approach the rest of health: from the inside out.
I dove into clinical literature, nutritional biochemistry, ingredient sourcing, and dosage data — focusing on what supports skin function beneath the surface, not just what markets well.
